Registration
Kidstop is for students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
This program is typically offered Monday through Friday for before and/or after school care starting Sept. 2, 2025 through June 5, 2026. School Year Kidstop is offered on most non-school days.

Authorized pick up
Our program will only release your child to someone listed as “authorized” pick up on your account with the exception of the local authorities if necessary. Please remind all authorized pick-ups to bring identification. Program staff is required to ask for identification from anyone unfamiliar attempting to pick up a child. This policy is designed to protect your child. Authorized pickups must physically sign children out daily.

Sign-out procedures
All sites have a staff member as well as a doorbell at our secure program entrances. In order for us to accept legal responsibility for your child, you or an authorized adult or sibling over the age of 12 must sign your child in and out of the program daily using the iPad located at your program entrance. This procedure is designed to protect your child. Failure to sign your child in or out of the program may result in termination of services. Children may not sign themselves in or out of the program on the iPads (these are for adult use only who are authorized pickups). Make sure to bring your ID when picking up your child. Students will not be released to anyone without proper ID verification.

How do I register for School Year Kidstop?
- Visit our website at www.kidstop279.org, click on register/manager your account, this is where you will be able to sign in or create an account if you have not done so.
- Registration opens on Tuesday March 11, 2025 at 6 a.m.
What Elementary schools do you offer Kidstop at?
What if my student goes to a school that doesn't offer Kidstop on-site?
- If your student attends school at Palmer Lake Elementary, Park Brook Elementary, Fair Oaks Elementary, Garden City Elementary & Zanewood Community: A STEAM School, care is available at Edinbrook Elementary.
- You would need to register your contract for Edinbrook Elementary, and Kidstop will coordinate transportation between their attending school and Edinbrook. Drop off and pick up would be at Edinbrook Elementary.
- If your student attends Birch Grove School for the Arts or Weaver Lake: A Science, Technology & Math School students can attend any location because of magnet school.
- Registering for care at one of these locations, requires you to register for a consistent contract.

Yes, Kidstop is open on most non-school days, you can register for these days under your current contract. These requests remain pending until the approve by date, which is typically 2 weeks prior to the non-school date (with the exception of school break dates), these weeks the deadline is earlier. You must have an accepted contract to attend non-school days. Please view our non-school day calendar for registration and cancel by deadlines, this information is communicated in the weekly email from your Kidstop location.
What meals are provided?
What happens if my child is on vacation/sick?
- Unfortunately, the Kidstop Program does not offer vacation/sick days, tuition is due regardless of attendance. We do not allow trading, swapping or banking days.
- If you have a Pick Your Day contract you would want to make sure you are not scheduled for the days you will not be attending, this is a date specific contract with no minimum number of days required.
- If you have a Consistent Contract, you are required to have a minimum of 3 days a week, if you want to remove 2 days from your contract, you would need to submit a schedule change to do this. Once that is approved, you will then need to submit another schedule change to add those days back to your schedule.
Do you accept assistance for tuition?
- Yes, Kidstop accepts child care assistance through your county, please email us a copy of your determination letter to cecares@district279.org.
How often do I get invoiced?
- We invoice weekly on Thursday and your payment is processed with your auto payment on Monday for that week of care.
- Child Care Assistance families - We invoice for two weeks tuition to coincide with the billing that we receive from the county. We invoice every other Monday for the past two weeks and payment is due on Friday.
What are contract options for school year Kidstop?
- Pick Your Day - This is a variable schedule. Choose the exact dates for programming periods (AM or PM) in a given period of time. Pick Your Day Contracts will not be accepted until two weeks prior to the date you pick it to start. No minimums.
- Consistent Schedule - Fixed schedule from week to week. Minimum of 3 days per week (AM and/or PM) are required.
- Non-school day only contract - This is an option for families who will only need care on non-school days.
Is there a registration fee and when is that charged?
What is your cancellation/withdrawal policy?
- If you decide to withdraw your contract after it has been accepted, there is a $35 withdrawal fee, per student. You will want to submit your withdrawal request by the weekly deadline of Wednesday 11:59 p.m. for it to take effect the following Monday by submitting a withdrawal at www.osseo.ce.eleyo.com. Contracts must end on a Friday.
How do you accept School Year Kidstop contracts?
- Contracts are reviewed in the order they are submitted.
- Contracts will remain pending until the week of April 28, 2025, at this time we will begin accepting contracts in the order they are submitted based on our current staffing levels. This will continue to change as new staff are hired into the program, if needed, waiting list communication will be sent the week of July 28, 2025 if your contract has not been accepted by that week.

Summer Kidstop 2026
Osseo Area Schools' Community Education Summer Kidstop is a fun, choice-based childcare program where kids explore, create and grow. The program is open to students entering kindergarten through fifth grade the fall of the 2026-27 school year.

Kidstop staff are not trained special education professionals and are not equipped to deliver specialized services. However, we are dedicated to supporting students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and fostering an inclusive and accommodating environment while operating within our scope of expertise and available resources.
What is the summer commitment deadline?
May 1, is the summer commitment deadline for accepted contracts. Any changes made to your contract before May 1 at 11:59 p.m. include:
- Unlimited contract changes including adding or removing days with no fees attached (minimum of 20 days required for a summer contract).
- Summer Contracts can be withdrawn by this date to avoid a withdrawal fee of up to $1,075
Any changes made after the May 1 at 11:59 p.m. deadline include:
- Withdrawing from the program will result in a $35.00 withdrawal fee per child along with paying for the 20 day minimum requirement of $1,040 per child.
- Add any additional days for $60.00 per day. Adding days is not guaranteed due to space and programming availability. Drop in days need to be added by entering it in through the online registration by Wednesday at 11:59 p.m., prior to the week attending. Drop in days do not count towards your 20 day minimum.
- Cancel days for a fee of $35.00 per child per email request. Canceling a day requires email notification to be sent to CECares@district279.org by Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. prior to the affected week. Days cannot be canceled if it reduces your contract under the 20 day minimum, drop in days do not count towards your minimum.
- If your contract is still pending after the May 1 deadline, families will be given the opportunity to adjust their dates at the time of accepting the contract.

How old or what grade does my student need to be to attend Summer Kidstop?
Students need to be entering kindergarten through fifth grade the upcoming 2026-27 school year or be at least 5 years old to be eligible for the program. Students who are going into sixth grade, or 4-year-olds, including students enrolled in prekindergarten for the upcoming school year, are not eligible for Summer Kidstop.

If you have a Pick Your Day contract you would want to make sure you are not scheduled for the days you will not be attending, this is a date specific contract with no minimum number of days required.
If you have a Consistent Contract, you are required to have a minimum of 3 days a week, if you want to remove 2 days from your contract, you would need to submit a schedule change to do this. Once that is approved, you will then need to submit another schedule change to add those days back to your schedule. The schedule change fee is $10 each request, each student.

We invoice weekly on Thursday and your payment is processed with your auto payment on Monday for that week of care. ● Child Care Assistance families - We invoice for two weeks tuition to coincide with the billing that we receive from the county. We invoice every other Monday for the past two weeks and payment is due on Friday
What are contract options for school year Kidstop?
Pick Your Day - This is a variable schedule. Choose the exact dates for programming periods (AM or PM) in a given period of time. Pick Your Day Contracts will not be accepted until two weeks prior to the date you pick it to start. No minimums. ● Consistent Schedule - Fixed schedule from week to week. Minimum of 3 days per week (AM and/or PM) are required. ● Non-school day only contract - This is an option for families who will only need care on non-school days.
Is there a registration fee and when is that charged?
What is your cancellation/withdrawal policy?
If you decide to withdraw your contract after it has been accepted, there is a $35 withdrawal fee, per student. You will want to submit your withdrawal request by the weekly deadline of Wednesday 11:59 p.m. for it to take effect the following Monday by submitting a withdrawal at www.osseo.ce.eleyo.com. Contracts must end on a Friday.
How do you accept School Year Kidstop contracts?
Contracts are reviewed in the order they are submitted. ● Contracts will remain pending until the first week in May, at this time we will begin accepting contracts in the order they are submitted based on our current staffing levels. This will continue to change as new staff are hired into the program, if needed, waiting list communication will be sent the first week of August if your contract has not been accepted by this time.
Can my student attend Kidstop if we are not enrolled in Osseo Area Schools?
Is there an age / grade restriction for my student to attend Kidstop?
Does Kidstop provide transportation?
The Kidstop program does not provide transportation unless you are receiving care at one of our HUB sites, this transportation would be between the HUB site you are registered at and your enrolled school.
